IJM Uganda has offices in Kampala and Gulu to protect women and children
In the last four and a half years, IJM Kampala has helped more than 650 widows and orphans regain land that is rightfully theirs. Now, IJM Gulu will help protect women and children in Northern Uganda.

A message from Eva Kadi, Director of IJM Gulu Operations:

Over the past two decades, hundreds of thousands of Northern Ugandan families were forced to flee their homes and land because of the chaos and violence created by warlord Joseph Kony.

Now, Kony has fled, but my people – the people of Gulu, Northern Uganda – are facing a new injustice. They are returning from temporary camps, where they sought shelter, only to discover that their homes have been stolen and are now occupied by more powerful neighbors—neighbors who threaten violence with machetes and spears.

To return home, these families need a defender. Help IJM open our 16th field office – IJM Gulu. Together, IJM investigators, attorneys and aftercare staff will put the power of the law on the side of the poor and vulnerable so the system works for everyone.

We urgently need your financial support to open a new field office in Gulu and to advance the mission of IJM. Will you give a gift today?
