Washington, DC Internships
IJM internships offer a unique opportunity for professional development and spiritual growth. The program benefits those who plan to pursue various career paths, including public relations, law, Christian ministry, law enforcement, public policy, business, social work or general non-profit or international work. The program offers the interns an opportunity to investigate their gifts and develop new skills while working at IJM's corporate headquarters.
For many interns, the DC internship is a strategic step prior to attending graduate school or beginning a career. The positions are open to college and graduate students, recent college graduates, and young professionals in career transition.

Field Operations Intern - Washington, D.C.
September - December 2011
Brown University, 2011, B.A. History
My time at IJM's headquarters has yielded wonderful rewards in learning and spiritual enrichment. My assignments provided valuable insight into IJM's legal casework and the ways that IJM field offices seek to address and counter human trafficking, abuses against children, illegal detention and property seizure, and modern-day slavery. The strength of relationships at IJM makes for a wholesome and supportive working environment that sets a model for any professional setting.
