For victims of injustice, it is often the case that the difference between life and death, freedom and prison, justice and injustice, simply depends upon whether or not someone can show up on their behalf. By raising financial support, Campus Chapters enable IJM to "show up" on behalf of those who are trafficked into prostitution, forced to work long hours in abusive bonded slavery or beaten and abused by local authorities. IJM asks that each Chapter set a goal to raise at least $1,000 per year. By simply raising funds, you can bring lasting, powerful change to victims of injustice. We would challenge and encourage you to be creative in your efforts to raise support and utilize various resources below.

Loose Change to Loosen Chains (LC2LC) is a student-led campaign to combat modern-day slavery while learning about the reality of injustices today. The program was inspired by the statistic that approximately $10.5 billion in loose change is lying around American households. Imagine what you could do if you were to collect even just a fraction of this amount and use it for a good cause! IJM will use the money to rescue victims of slavery and other forms of oppression.
