IJM President Gary Haugen received honors from two top law schools for his commitment to serving the oppressed and contributions to the field of law. He delivered commencement addresses to the graduating law classes of both schools this summer.

IJM Expands Presence To Ecuador Through Innovative Philanthropic Support

IJM has partnered with human rights organization Paz y Esperanza (Peace and Hope) in their casework on behalf of impoverished victims of violent oppression in Peru since 2002. Now, Paz y Esperanza and International Justice Mission will expand this vital work to Ecuador through a new field office in Guayaquil, Ecuador’s largest city. The field office, which will begin conducting casework this summer, will combat sexual violence against children and domestic violence against women by pursuing IJM’s core casework goals: victim rescue, perpetrator accountability, victim aftercare and structural transformation.

IJM Establishes Third Affiliate Office: IJM Netherlands

THE HAGUE, Netherlands – International Justice Mission formally established its third affiliate office, located in The Hague, the Netherlands, this spring. A group of leaders with backgrounds in law, justice, government relations and business will further the work of IJM from their unique global position in The Hague.
