About the IJM Advocacy Day and TrainingIJM invites you to participate in our second annual Advocacy Day and Training. Join fellow Christians from around the country to learn how you can mobilize others in your community and influence policy-makers at the national level to bring modern-day slavery to an end. Participants in Monday’s Day of Action on Capitol Hill will partner with other advocates from their state to meet with Members of Congress and their staff. Advocacy Training: Sunday, April 11, 1-5:30 p.m.The training on April 11 is open to 300 participants, and breakout sessions will cater both to those who have experience with advocacy and those who are new to the work. Day of Action on Capitol Hill: Monday, April 12, 8-5 p.m.(Space is limited; see Registration Page to apply) The Day of Action on Capitol Hill is limited to approximately 100 people; participants will have time during the training to meet with their lobby teams to prepare for the next day’s meetings. During meetings with House and Senate offices on April 12, lobby teams will meet with Members of Congress and their staff to advocate for the passage of the Child Protection Compact Act. Questions?
