IJM’s casework alliance partner in Peru continues to lead police to apprehend violent suspects who abuse women and girls

Paz y Esperanza, IJM’s casework alliance partner in Peru, worked with police in the town of Ambo to track down Roberto Carlos Antonio Cajas more than two years after a warrant was issued for his arrest in the rape of a 19-year-old woman in October 2005. After his arrest on May 7, Roberto Carlos Antonio Cajas was transferred to the Potracancha jail, where he awaits trial.
