The Need
The ICAC Support Specialist will support the mission of the Cebu ILED team to develop law enforcement units investigating cases of online sexual exploitation of children (OSEC). The position will support the Cebu ILEDs programming for law enforcement partners, empowering them to efficiently and professionally respond to reports of OSEC. The position will provide technical and logistical support to law enforcement partners, ensuring they develop the skills necessary to rescue and protect victims, conduct lawful arrests, and successfully prosecute perpetrators of OSEC. This position will primarily support law enforcement activation and accompaniment efforts of the Cebu ICAC Specialist. This position requires experience in providing training, advanced technical skills, and superior organizational skills.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or legal field preferable
- Experience working with law enforcement or criminal prosecutors
- High level of computer literacy
- Previous work experience interacting with situations involving child exploitation and trauma
- Significant experience in public speaking and/or providing training and instruction
Technical Competencies
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Advanced Cebuano Language proficiency
- Experience in open source and/or cybercrime investigation
- Experience in coaching or mentoring
- Extensive I.T. capabilities preferable
- Demonstrated networking skills
- Mature, orthodox Christian faith as defined by the Apostle’s Creed.
- Organized and detail oriented
