The Need

IJM is seeking for a qualified Social Worker who will be responsible for capacitating partner service providers through collaborative casework to ensure the handling of OSEC cases is compliant with standards. He/She will actively engage with the regional offices of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Local Government Units, and other private service providers to utilize existing policies and standards, drive innovations and reforms that raise the standards of care for OSEC victims and survivors, The Social Worker is expected to provide limited logistical and technical support during rescue operations and recovery stages where there are gaps in the public justice system. This person will also be required to support national efforts in the promotion of standards and protocols, and in achieving Regional/Local System Reform Goals.


  • Mentor and coach government and private service providers through collaborative casework and support in a manner that is compliant with established standards in caring for OSEC victims and survivors.
  • Promote and mainstream the use of standards and protocols in handling OSEC cases.
  • Temporary provision of resources and logistical/technical support for aftercare services during rescue operations and in the different stages of recovery where there are gaps, to demonstrate best standard of care and intervention for OSEC victims and survivors.
  • Support national efforts aimed at achieving Aftercare Regional/Local System Reform Goals.
  • Provide documentation and participate in monitoring and evaluation of regional and local aftercare service providers’ performance that will inform policy, program and systems reform advocacy.


  • Minimum educational requirement: A degree in social work and a registered social worker. With a Master’s degree is preferred
  • Two years of experience in handling cases of women and children who are victims of abuse
  • Proficient in the use of Words, Excel, PPT
  • Knowledge and skills on Case Management with capacity for Child and Family Assessment, and resource mobilization
  • Knowledge and skills on stakeholders engagement and partnership development
  • Knowledge and skill on report preparation and case documentation
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Pilipino
