The Need
After almost 25 years of continued growth and operational success in pioneering the work of protecting those who are experiencing poverty from violence, IJM has become a $100+ million organization. As IJM continues this trajectory of growth and scaling of its impact, with the Vision to protect 500 million people by the year 2030, IJM’s Global Programs division is seeking a Specialist, Corporate Partnerships.
This position is based remotely in a location of strategic relevance to the role, with a focus on the Asia Pacific Region where IJM is legally registered and reports to the Chief Partnerships Officer.

Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
Lead implementation of strategy to leverage the influence of multinational corporations and corporate alliances to move governments to transform criminal justice systems, with a focus on IJM’s Forced Labor Hub in Southeast Asia.
Refine, design, and implement IJM’s line of offerings for corporate stakeholders.
Serve as Relationship Owner and lead internal Partnership Teams for targeted global corporate alliances.
Strategy, Knowledge Development, & Implementation
Proactively identify opportunities for corporate stakeholders to partner with IJM to accelerate progress toward protection goals at the country level.
Provide expert knowledge and guidance on the current context, latest trends, and policy issues to ensure IJM staff is equipped to engage on relevant global supply chain issues, with a particular emphasis on forced labor occurring in sourcing locations (Southeast Asia, South Asia, and West Africa), to inform advocacy efforts.
Networking & Partnership
Represent IJM at targeted forums and alongside corporate partners to build support for IJM’s theory of change with high priority corporate stakeholders.
Engage with executive stakeholders at the global, regional, and local level to innovate successful corporate partnership models, with a particular focus on Southeast Asia.
Serve on internal Partnership Teams focused on activating high priority multinational corporations.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders at the global, regional, and local level.
Communication
Deliver exceptional written and verbal communication related to IJM’s vision for corporate activation at every level of the organization.
Training & Development
As a member of the Global Programs division, provide matrixed technical expertise, coaching and capacity building support to IJM staff engaging with corporations.
Research, Program Management, & M&E
Lead analysis and submission of quarterly evaluation reports for relevant corporate activation targets.
Lead/advise on the monitoring and evaluation of IJM’s corporate offerings, providing expert input on best practices for measuring impact.
Lead/advise on how to scale and replicate successful models across multiple forced labor contexts.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field;
Master’s degree in International Development or related field;
Minimum of 10+ years of relevant work experience that demonstrates technical expertise in supply chains, development, political engagement/advocacy or related area;
Deep understanding of Southeast Asia or South Asia business and political context;
Knowledge of standards relating to design, innovation, planning, monitoring/measurement and program evaluation;
Experience developing strong working relationships across cultures and contexts;
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
Experience working in a matrixed team setting and fostering collaboration in virtual settings;
Fluency in written and oral English;
Exceptional written and oral communication skills and the desire to build lasting relationships; and
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
