Super Bowl LIX Pre-Show Performer Lauren Daigle and Super Bowl LIX Community Champion and Saints Captain Demario Davis Unite to Shine a Light on Human Trafficking

SBLIX Night of Freedom to Benefit International Justice Mission and Local NGO Working to Tackle This Global Crisis

Two-time Grammy-winning and Super Bowl LIX pre-show performer Lauren Daigle, New Orleans Saints team captain and Super Bowl LIX Community Champion Demario Davis, and his wife, humanitarian Tamela Davis are uniting to host SBLIX Night of Freedom, an exclusive private event on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, dedicated to raising awareness and support for the fight against human trafficking.

Benefiting International Justice Mission (IJM) and local anti-trafficking organizations through Daigle’s The Price Fund, the event highlights the urgent need to combat violence and exploitation globally and locally. In fact, the number of women and girls trapped in commercial sexual exploitation (or sex trafficking) would fill up Caesars Superdome 67 times. Opportunities like this event create space for people to learn about this critical issue and also learn there is a hopeful and proven solution by strengthening justice systems to enforce anti-trafficking laws in order to deter criminals perpetrating these crimes and protect vulnerable people from violence.

Daigle, known for her soulful voice and chart-topping hits like the Grammy Award winning and 6x Platinum certified You Say and Gold certified Thank God I Do,” will headline the evening with a small, private performance. As an official Super Bowl LIX performer singing America the Beautiful,” Daigle brings her artistry and commitment to advocacy to this meaningful cause. Her Grammy-winning album Look Up Child debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200, making her the first female artist to simultaneously reach the Top 10 on both the Pop and Christian Album charts. With artistry deeply rooted in her Louisiana heritage, Daigle’s music resonates with messages of resilience, hope and empowerment.

“There’s nothing like the Super Bowl to bring people together,” said Daigle. “And there’s no greater cause than the fight to end human trafficking. I can think of no better place than New Orleans and no better time than at the Super Bowl to surround ourselves with our friends to fight this injustice. Demario and Tamela Davis exemplify the power that we all have – to use our voices for the greater good and together, we’ll fight for action!”

The Davises are a power couple in the NFL, making a profound difference in their communities. Demario, a multi-time All-Pro linebacker and two-time NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year Award nominee, exemplifies leadership both on and off the field. Tamela, co-founder of the Devoted Dreamers Foundation, is dedicated to empowering underserved communities, equipping future leaders, and championing women’s and couples’ ministry. The Devoted Dreamers Foundation is also a key sponsor, making this event possible.

“SBLIX Night of Freedom promises to be an unforgettable evening of music, inspiration and action. Tamela and I are passionate about amplifying the voices of vulnerable people and supporting IJM’s vital work. With Lauren and IJM, we are creating a powerful moment to inspire change and drive meaningful impact,” said New Orleans Saints linebacker Davis.

“We are profoundly grateful to Demario, Tamela and Lauren for their dedication to supporting survivors and uplifting all those impacted by human trafficking. Their efforts bring hope and justice to those who need it most,” said Super Bowl winner and former NFL player now serving as IJM Team Freedom Director Mark Herzlich.
