IJM Renews Historic Agreement with Cambodian Law Enforcement

PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA – IJM has been working with Cambodian law enforcement to combat sex trafficking of children since 2003. After years of successfully working together on anti-trafficking operations, IJM became the first NGO to ever sign onto a formal memorandum of understanding with Cambodia's Ministry of Interior in 2010—the government agency that oversees all Cambodian National Police units.

IJM Manila Helps Rescue Girls from Four Bars in One Night

MANILA, THE PHILIPPINES – In a complex operation that required precise planning and careful coordination, IJM helped rescue several girls who had been trafficked to four different bars on the same street. When IJM discovered that these bars were selling minors for sex, they passed along the information to the National Bureau of Investigation's Anti-Human Trafficking Division (NBI).
