Principal Advisor, Violence Against Women and Children

Sharon Cohn Wu is the Principal Advisor on Violence Against Women and Children for International Justice Mission (IJM), leading IJM’s center of excellence in addressing sexual violence against children and intimate partner violence and developing globally applicable best practices from IJM’s extensive programmatic experience worldwide.

Prior to her current role, Sharon was responsible for designing IJM’s Justice System Transformation Model and directing IJM’s global operations. She has testified before the U.S. Congress on the issue of trafficking and has given interviews for numerous news outlets. Sharon received her JD from Harvard Law School and her BA from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining IJM, she clerked for Hon. Richard L. Williams and was a corporate litigator for Arnold & Porter.
