Jesse Rudy

Vice President of Global Business Solutions

Jesse Rudy serves as the Vice President of Global Business Solutions at International Justice Mission. In this role, Jesse oversees IJM’s global planning and budgeting process, working with leaders across the organization to develop strategies that will protect the poor from violence on a global scale.

Jesse joined IJM in 2009 as the Field Office Director in Kampala, Uganda. Under Jesse’s leadership, IJM Uganda secured relief for more than 500 individual victims of property grabbing, opened a second Field Office in Gulu, and launched a system reform program to improve the ways police, courts and local governments protect widows and orphans from having their homes and land stolen from them. In 2014, Jesse and his family relocated to the Philippines where Jesse served as National Director, overseeing IJM’s three Filipino Field Offices. In Jesse’s two years in the Philippines, he led IJM Philippines to successfully conclude projects that drastically reduced the availability of children for commercial sex in Cebu, in Manila and in Pampanga.  Jesse also led the team in launching a casework and system reform project designed to combat the online sexual exploitation of children across the Philippines. Prior to joining IJM, Jesse served as an attorney at Wiley Rein & Field LLP in Washington, D.C., and McGuire Woods LLP in Tyson’s Corner, VA, specializing in employment and non-competition litigation.  Jesse holds a B.S. in Pre-Law from John Brown University and a J.D. from the University Of Virginia School Of Law.

Jesse and his wife, Amy, live with their three children in Vienna, Virginia.
