Melissa Russell

As a member of IJM’s Global Leadership team, Melissa Russell has served at IJM for over 15 years, leading global partnerships, marketing, and revenue. For the last four years she has served as Regional President of North America, overseeing all executive operations. She launched IJM’s work with transnational corporate supply chain partnerships, and under her leadership IJM has raised nearly $1 billion to rescue women and men from slavery and oppression and help protect over 10 million people around the world. Her teams launched offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and South Korea, and ignited worldwide church engagement through the Freedom Sunday campaign.

Melissa received her B.A. in Journalism and her Master of Arts in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin. She lives in the DC area with her husband and two sons.
