Tori Bakos

As Senior Lead of the Venture Council, Tori has the great privilege of connecting a community of IJM's most passionate investors and advocates with the reality of protection from violence that they are enabling for people in poverty.

Tori has been shaping advancement initiatives for nearly fifteen years, previously with CURE and Compassion International. Her early interest in global development was strengthened by a degree from Penn State University that intersected communication, business, and international studies.

Tori lives in Central Pennsylvania, where another great privilege and source of joy is found in taking good care of her family, friends, and neighbors. Together with her husband (Galen) and two lively toddlers (Caleb and Annabel), the Bakos family enjoys hosting impromptu pool parties and making room for more people at their table.
