Human Rights Day 2020: Dominican Republic must seize the chance to stop child marriage

In honor of Human Rights Day, José Monteiro, the director of IJM Dominican Republic, wrote about the urgent need to end child marriage in the DR. In this piece, José explains the deep and devastating three-pronged impact of child marriage. As the legal timeframe for the Dominican Republic Constitutional Court's response comes to a close, IJM asks the court to declare child marriage unconstitutional by the end of the year.
