In 2016 IJM Lawyer Willie Kimani, client Josephat Mwenda and trusted driver Joseph Muiruri, were murdered by corrupt Kenyan police officers. In July 2022, justice prevailed as three Kenyan police officers and an informant were found guilty of their murder.
