David and Anne Grizzle

David Grizzle and his wife Anne have been investors in the work of IJM for almost the entire time IJM has existed. They are drawn to the work of IJM because it is hard work done excellently in the name of Jesus. David Grizzle is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Dazzle Partners LLC in Washington, DC and serves on several corporate and charitable boards. Between 2009 and 2014, David served as the head of the nation’s air traffic control system. Prior to that, David was an executive with Continental Airlines, and by training, David is an attorney. During a leave of absence from Continental, David served for 14 months with the Department of State in Kabul, Afghanistan and lived in a converted shipping container with four feet of sandbags on top. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School. Anne is the Chaplain at Boys Home of Virginia and serves as spiritual director, retreat leader and family therapist. She has served on the boards of Sojourners, Leighton Ford Ministries, Intervarsity and Amistad Mission. Anne is a graduate of Harvard College and Columbia University. David and Anne have three sons and seven grandchildren.
