Dawn is the Director of Church Programs. In this role she provides strategy and support for churches passionate about ending modern day slavery and aiding marginalized communities around the world where IJM serves.
Prior to joining IJM, Dawn was the Director of Missional Programs for the Lott Carey Convention managing programs in Australia, Africa, and the Caribbean. Nationally, she was responsible for mobilizing churches in global prayer initiatives, legislative action, disaster relief, anti-human trafficking events, and short-term missions. Dawn has over 25 years of nonprofit and parachurch experience creating programs to support individuals and families experiencing poverty at home and aboard. Dawn received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Lincoln University, PA and earned her Master of Divinity degree in Mission, Evangelism, and Church Growth from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dawn is a native New Yorker, and resides in the Washington Metro Area.
