Eddie Kaufholz is the producer and host of The New Activist, an acclaimed podcast that is dedicated to hearing from activists and world changers who are tackling some of the world’s biggest problems. This podcast is joint venture between International Justice Mission and RELEVANT. In addition, Eddie serves as a director of church mobilization for IJM. This role affords him the opportunity to equip churches and communities by sharing the biblical call to seek justice, introducing them to IJM’s work and mobilizing them to engage in both local and global ministry. Eddie joined the team by way of Summit Church in Orlando, where he served as campus pastor. In that role, he had a front-row seat to watch the church be the driving force behind proving that justice for the poor is possible. He previously served on the staff of Young Life and with churches in Florida and Kentucky. Additionally, Eddie is a contributing editor to RELEVANT Magazine and a co-host on the RELEVANT Podcast.
Eddie received a bachelor’s degree in Family, Youth and Community Science at the University of Florida, and earned a master’s in Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky. He lives in Orlando, Florida with his wife Brianne and two children, Eve and Lucy.
