The Silks are long-time supporters of IJM and have a heart for the global anti-trafficking/anti-slavery work of IJM. Attending Liberate in 2017 was a highlight as the experience of being with so many team members, supporters, and survivors who all desire to end in slavery in our lifetime was extremely moving. Sarah, a graduate of Westmont College, taught elementary school for 7 years before staying home with their two daughters. Mark works in the aerospace/communications industry as CEO of ThinKom Solutions, Inc. Mark and Sarah Silk have been married for 29 years and live in Pasadena, California where they enjoy spending time outdoors running, hiking and at the beach. They have two daughters – Hannah is working on her Master's degree at Wheaton College and Heidi is a senior at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
