Michael Lewis serves as a director of church mobilization for International Justice Mission in Houston. This role affords him the opportunity to equip churches and communities in Texas and Oklahoma by sharing the biblical call to seek justice, introducing them to IJM’s work and mobilizing them to engage in both local and global ministry.
Prior to joining IJM, Michael served as a consultant to nonprofit organizations in the Houston area. He held leadership positions in nonprofit institutions with responsibilities in operations, philanthropy and strategy, and in the private sector delivering financial analysis and strategic planning. For over five years, Michael served as director of operations for Mission Houston, a parachurch ministry devoted to uniting the Church in Houston for personal and community transformation.
Michael received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. He is also a senior fellow of the American Leadership Forum. Originally from San Antonio, Michael is husband to his high school sweetheart Cynthia and father to their three sons Miles, Marcus and Mateo.
