Scott and Virginia Huffman

Portola Valley, CA
Supporting IJM since 2004

Scott and Virginia Huffman have been married for 24 years, and live in Portola Valley, California with their two children, Chloe, 17, and Caleb, 18, and three cats. They have been supporters of IJM since 2004, after hearing about IJM's amazing ministry through a justice class at Menlo Church.

Virginia spent several years in ministry with inner-city families at CityTeam Ministries before working at Menlo Church and Habitat for Humanity. Today she partners as an advisor to a Hispanic ministry serving families in Redwood City, as well as spending time designing jewelry, managing property, and being a mom.

Scott's background is in Artificial Intelligence, and he has spent many years creating technology products. He currently works at Google, where he most recently founded and led the team that created the "Hey Google" digital voice assistant. It has been exciting for him to hear about how technology is helping IJM and its partners scale to meet its 2030 vision. Scott and Virginia love traveling, the outdoors, hiking, biking, and kayaking.
